So quick note here, in case you didn't already know....I'm on Twitter.  I have to say I really don't get what is so cool about Twitter, but I've added "tweeting" to my daily list of things to do, and occasionally I come up with something clever.

AMERICA'S BEST DJ TOUR

For all of you in the Western half of the US, I'm happy to announce that I've been given an official tour date on the massive America's Best DJ Summer Club Tour!

Friday, June 19th, I'll be playing at The Vault in Salt Lake City, UT in connection with my HyperMiXx radio affiliate out there, 97.1 ZHT.   I'm super excited about this opportunity as I've been wanting to get out to Salt Lake for quite some time.  I have some really great fans of my show there and so it's awesome to get the chance to play live AND get on-site votes for Americas Best DJ.

The Vault is an incredible brand new venue as well.  It's built in and old bank building, complete with the .....wait for it..... VAULT that's open as a VIP section.   It's also 18 and over, and this show will be an all ages show, so for everyone that always complains, "I'm not 21 yet"....get on a plane for Utah, haha.   The Vault brings true Las Vegas style to Salt Lake, so this party should be off the hinges.  

You can buy your tickets NOW, at a big discount:  $12.50 at www.VaultUtah.com  Get them now as cover will be $20 at the door.  Doors open at 10:00PM and I rock the wheels of steel until 2:00AM.   Capacity is limited so get there EARLY!

The next week, on June 27th, I'll be making a tour stop on the beach in Hilton Head, South Carolina and the world famous "Monkey Business"   My good friend DJ MXM is hosting this night and it should be a blast.  More details to come!

 AMERICA'S BEST DJ - I Need Your Vote!

Here we go again...after my very strong finish in last year's contest (Top 10 in the USA!) The race is now on to crown "America's Best DJ" for 2009 and I'm once again a major contender.   

Based on national influence and fan inquiries, I've been selected by the editors of DJ Times Magazine to be one of only 100 DJs in the country nominated for "America's Best DJ".   The contest, now in it's fourth year, is being sponsored by Sirius-XM, Play.fm, and Pioneer Pro DJ, and seeks to crown the top dance DJ in the country, via a national tour, club-specific promotions and online fan voting.  The other 99 nominees read like a who's who of the American club scene today including Funkmaster Flex, DJ AM, DJ Skribble, Bad Boy Bill, and Junior Vasquez, and I'm honored to be placed in their company.

The online voting is taking place now thru August 8th at www.AmericasBestDJ.net and is open to any age group, but those over 18 are automatically entered into a fan contest with over $25,000 in prizes including free music downloads, Sirius Goodies, and trips to Vegas for the award ceremony and party late this summer.
